Our skin has to put up with a lot in the summer months – sunscreen from beach days, make-up from nights out with friends, sweat from a long hike — your face deserves a little R&R.
Here are a few of her suggestions for easy-to-DIY face masks using skin-soothing aloe vera as a base, to give your skin a boost.

- 2 Tbsps aloe vera gel
- 2 Tbsps lemon juice
Mix all ingredients into a paste. Apply on face, focusing on areas of sunburn. Leave on for 15-20 minutes, then rinse with cold water.
2. Hydrating Banana/Almond Aloe Vera Mask
Skin dried out from too much product? This revitalizing blend prevents flakiness and keeps skin hydrated.
